About Emma

We get to a certain point in life where we can look back and say with some confidence what this one has been about for us. My ceaseless desire to learn all I can about the inner and outer workings of the natural world and our place in it has offered endless inspiration in my art. Creating art as a means to understand the world is not a choice for me. If you look around enough, you will see that we are all doing some version of that in our own way.

I never went to art school. The place I created from cannot squeeze itself into a mold of formal instruction. Instead I have lived fully, travelled, studied quantum physics and psychology, and spend silent hours in nature. I have even found raising kids and being present with who they really to be exquisite instruction in the creative process.
